Posterheroes Green Collection
Posterheroes is an international social design and communication competition. The competition, created in 2010 by the PLUG association, is open to all and aims to involve mainly professional designers, students and graphic design enthusiasts from all over the world, with the aim of bringing forward relevant discussions on social and environmental issues, through the presentation of a poster in 70×100 cm format.
The entries are judged by an international jury made up of experts in the field of graphic design, communication, but also scholars and experts in the visual sector. Now in its 10th edition, Posterheroes brings the creative community face to face with the theme of “Digital Inclusion”, entitled “Becoming e-Quals. Over the years, the contest has seen the participation of more than 10863 posters from more than 100 different countries. The winning posters were selected by a jury of international experts in the field of illustration, animation, the arts and visual communication (55 members so far).
The competition is organised by the Plug cultural association, in cooperation with the FAVINI paper mill and the ITCILO International Training Centre.
PLUG has organised several initiatives to promote the value of the winning posters of Posterheroes, including the production of two catalogs, thanks to the support of Favini, three calendars and several public exhibitions in open spaces, art galleries and public spaces.
The opinion of young creatives is very important to us at Plug and is therefore shared and widely discussed.
