MinAmbiente Fourth Report on Natural Capital 2021
The year 2021 marks the start of ten fundamental years to concretely set the world on the path towards sustainability development, in line with the objectives set by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the European Green Deal and the new European Biodiversity and Farm to Fork strategies.
This explains the importance of the Ministry for Ecological Transition report, which maps the state of Italy’s natural capital. It represents the starting point to achieve the halting of the loss of biodiversity and the reversing of its degradation by 2030. It also is the first great “public work” to protect and restore our terrestrial and marine environments, which are fundamental to our well-being and health and which boost our economy and employment rate.
