Ecologically conscious artwork by Tracy Penn
I create ecologically conscious artwork from post-consumer materials. By upcycling unwanted objects in my work, I give these materials a second life and create more environmental value. In using discarded objects as a key element of my work, I hope to bring attention to the effect that we as a society are having on climate change and the importance of sustainability.
The upcycled materials I use allow me to add texture and create distorted grids in my work, both key elements of my aesthetic.
